For my first photo on the blog I will start off with something a little on the cooler side of things since it’s hot as hell here in Calgary today (which is unusual even for summer).

This photos is of Bow Lake Alberta. It is a awesome spot to shoot in summer or winter however in the winter if the conditions are right you can see the methane gas bubbles under the ice which make for an awesome foreground in your shot. The day I took this shot it had been storming the night before so the ice wasn’t wind blow yet and the methane bubbles where under the snow.

Hope you enjoy!

Cheers!

Nevin
